What a great suggestion and way to welcome the new year! Our brains are hardwired to replay the negative experiences we’ve had, also know as negativity bias. Thanks evolution! On the other hand, positive experiences are less likely to be replayed in the same way because they are not typically associated with immediate survival concerns. What a great way to negate this. Starting right now!

Great ideas Chris. The negative reels play so easily.

I love this, and I will start creating this file today.

What a great idea Chris! I do like the fact my photo app reminds me regularly what I was doing at various points, it would be nice for everything else to be so easily accessible.

I want to start doing this going forward, especially going into 2025. Thank you for the guide, sometimes it's hard to know what to capture.

Let me know if you need any help! There's no hard and fast rule for what to capture so as long as it's something you want to review again in the future, or something you think can provide a pick-me-up, that works.

Chris, I love this idea! I often get beautiful comments about my writing. I can start there.

Ahh, this is so great. I've tried so many things in my Notes app: gratitude lists, good things that happened that day lists. They've all been well intentioned but then they start to feel like another thing on the to-do list or they lose their impact (or I get off track with keeping up with it). I love that this is something you can keep up but also doesn't have to be an everyday thing and it also gives you the opportunity to try to look for things you can add to the list (which as a negative-focuser, is hugely helpful). I just set mine up and started filling it out 😊

Thanks Jackie! The best part for me is I just screenshot everything and drop it in the file. Mine isn't organized. It's a bit of a mess 🤫

Secret is safe with me 😂 I only recently realized you could even add screenshots or pictures to a note in the Notes app. I feel like I become more of a baby boomer instead of a millennial everyday when it comes to technology.

Yeah! It's really convenient but sometimes the sizing comes out messed up. Which is why I gave up trying to make it look perfect

Chris, you always seem to know what I need to hear. I forget what I've achieved when I'm slogging through the mud every day, so thank you for this reminder. I'm away to make my highlight reel ❤️
