With your writing (which I love and never think the posts are too long) have you ever tried writing haiku or poetry or something out with your style? We did this in uni to force you to think of the actual words used and how you can edit them to fit. And having written three novels I know the punishment and joy of a good edit. Remember the Hemminway story of him writing a complete story in five words, "for sale, baby shoes, unworn" your writing is great, keep learning. And we love you too! Happy birthday 🎂
Hi Chris, hopefully the link works, your struggle is poetry, mine is technology haha. I struggled with poetry and haiku, it's that challenge that makes it all the sweeter when it comes together.
Great post … I appreciate your warmth and what appears to be an open door to your genuine thoughts. I think that’s rare and I appreciate your candid approach to writing! Hope you have an awesome cake-free birthday!
Love this!!! Great post. It was a revelation to find you and to actually have met you! Happy early birthday. Two other things: 1. I like all 38 but 22 is my fave for you. 2. I enjoy Olive Garden too. 😊
“14. Two pieces of advice I’ve taken to heart recently: 1) Break tasks down into smaller pieces and 2) Act. I find that whenever I try to do too much at once, I become overwhelmed and get nothing done, which then makes me anxious, stressed out, and depressed. Bite-sized action makes a world of difference.”
This is some advice I need to take to heart right now, because I was getting anxious about doing something because I don’t know what I’m doing for it. Thank you!
Happy early birthday Chris. I hope you can enjoy a birthday cannoli- even if it’s not from Boston. Btw, just met Shea Hildebrand, I’m sure you remember him from Red Sox days. He was speaking at a real estate conference and shared some great memories of his days in Boston. He hated to leave Boston too.
Thanks Tracy! Oh small world! I remember Hillenbrand. He had a couple great years for the Sox. I remember when he was traded - the guy we got back wasn't very good...
Happy Birthday! Nice post!
Thanks Alexis!
Happy Belated Birthday Chris!

Thank you so much Vivienne! I really appreciate it 😀
Sooo I've tried poetry and it didn't really go too well. For some reason it's a struggle for me.
Could you send me a link to your books? I'd love to take a look at them!

Happy birthday Chris (now belated I think?!) 🥳🥰
Thanks Jane! Belated is fine - I still appreciate it! :)
Happy birthday my fellow Virgo. Also not a fan of birthday cake.
This is why we’re friends!
Happy belated Birthday, Chris!
Thanks Victoria!
Happy birthday Chris! Love these musings - and yes you can absolutely call them that 😂 especially felt this one:
“The best kind of success? Relationships.”
Thanks Ruhie! :)
I would do little else but eat frosting if that were possible.
That is a valid take. I will concede I'll eat chocolate frosting.
Happy Birthday Chris 🥳🥳🥳
10 -LOL! I like it tooo!!! I love the salad and the breadsticks. I love dipping the breadsticks in Alfredo sauce.
19- isn’t it wild how lucky we were to skip out on social media in high school?! Im so glad we didn’t have to experience that.
22- the 40’s are so fun, I think you’ll love them. Your best days ARE ahead of you.
23- humor helped keep me alive throughout my life, it truly is the best medicine.
35- 🎯🎯🎯

Olive Garden's soup and salad combo is the best.

Yeah, he mentioned that he was the first trade THeo Epstein made, the year before they won the series.
Happy Birthday! I enjoyed this - musings are fun. And also - Peyton Manning!!
