Welcome to the sixth edition of the Hello, Adversity Monthly Newsletter for paid subscribers.

I can’t believe today is Halloween!

Growing up, I loved to dump my overstuffed Halloween bag on the floor and organize my spoils by candy type. I’d have chocolate bars in one pile. Skittles and Starbursts in another. Pixie sticks and Sweet Tarts in another. Twizzlers I’d give to my sister; Butterfingers I threw to my dad. (Who would then pillage my candy piles after I went to bed.)

Anyways, I could talk all day about Halloween candy; I have strong opinions. (Don’t get me started on candy corn.) But that’s a topic for another day.
